Hourly Rate: £13.45
Contract: Fixed Term, 27 hours per week
Working Hours: Between 9am - 6pm

Our Seasonal Handy Person
Plays a critical role during the summer months, restoring, improving, and maintaining our buildings to pristine conditions ahead of our next intake of Students from September onwards.
- Painting & decorating.
- Respond to maintenance requests, promptly addressing reports of issues with plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, lighting, furniture, and other equipment.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Conduct regular inspections of residence facilities to identify potential issues and performing scheduled maintenance tasks.
- General repairs, such as fixing minor issues like leaky plumbing, broken fixtures, damaged doors, and wall repairs.
- Performing minor tasks like replacing flooring, repairing furniture, and touch-up painting & decorating.
- Ground works, maintaining the upkeep of outdoor areas such as grass-cutting & hedge-trimming/shaping.
- Safety compliance. Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures when performing maintenance tasks.

Professional Experience
Who we want to join our team
- Skilled across a variety of maintenance functions including painting & decorating.
- Well-versed in delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within a similar environment.
- Demonstrable understanding and adherence of safety compliance regulations and procedures.
- IT literate.
