Job Introduction

At Whittard of Chelsea, we’ve been curating extraordinary moments through tea, coffee, and hot chocolate since 1886. In our flagship store, we invite customers to explore a world of flavour, craftsmanship, and discovery - and that starts with our passionate in-store teams.

We’re looking for a Retail Sales Advisor who shares our love of service, storytelling, and exceptional customer experiences. If you bring energy, curiosity, and a warm smile to every interaction, we’d love you on the team.

You’ll need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, key trading days, and during our opening period. We require availability of a minimum of 4 days. This is a Fixed term contract for 3 months.

A Day in the Life of a Whittard Sales Advisor

Whether you're brewing the perfect sample or sharing your favourite blend, every shift is a chance to create something memorable. You’ll play a key role in making every visit feel personal, inspiring customers to explore, taste, and return again.

You’ll Be

  • Customer-Obsessed: Bringing our products to life with enthusiasm and expert knowledge, encouraging customers to taste, learn, and discover.
  • Sales-Savvy: Recommending bold new brews or highlighting seasonal gifts, confidently using upselling and cross-selling to boost sales.
  • Team-Focused: Collaborating closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge, and supporting new team members. Reading handovers and contributing to a smooth, connected shift.
  • Operationally Reliable: Maintaining clean, well-stocked displays and following store opening/closing routines to keep everything running like clockwork.
  • Always Curious: Seeking feedback, staying up to date on new products, and looking for ways to improve your own performance and the customer experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
