Seasonal Security Officer

Security Officer – Alton Towers

About The Role

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week – Flexible between Monday and Sunday Note: This is a fixed term contract until November 2026.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Security Officer, based at Alton Towers!

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside our highly trained, professional security team within a large venue. You will be responsible for ensuring the protection, security, and safety of visitors and the building.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as first-line support to employees and visitors, providing a professional and friendly service
  • Investigating and reporting all allegations of loss, theft, criminal damage, and other incidents
  • Managing crowd safety and queue management
  • Responding to emergency situations as detailed in the Incident and Emergency Plans
  • Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential
  • Experience in the security industry/environment is an advantage
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience in a public-facing role with the ability to handle challenging situations
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
