Bunnahabhain Distillery Seasonal Tour Guide
Bunnahabhain Distillery, home to one of Islay's most distinctive single malts, is looking for enthusiastic Seasonal Tour Guides to join their Visitor Experience team for the season.
Based in the picturesque island of Islay, Bunnahabhain is a working site, where you will experience firsthand the Distillers at work ensuring the magic comes alive. Bunnahabhain is situated on the Northeastern shores of Islay with magnificent views of the Paps of Jura.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a world-class whisky distillery, welcoming visitors from across the globe and sharing the unique story of Bunnahabhain.
This fantastic opportunity as a Seasonal Tour Guide provides a chance to be involved with a dynamic team who aim to create remarkable experiences for all their visitors, taking them on a journey they will always remember and sharing their love for Whisky with all visitors. You will be responsible for sharing the heritage with passion and enthusiasm and acting as ambassadors to the business.

Your Time at Work
As a Seasonal Tour Guide, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, informative, and memorable distillery tours and tastings.
You will be an ambassador for the Bunnahabhain brand, ensuring every visitor leaves with an exceptional experience.
Our Perfect Worker
We are looking for friendly, confident individuals with a passion for whisky, storytelling, and customer service.
You will ideally have:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A positive, welcoming attitude and a genuine interest in whisky
- Previous customer service, hospitality, or tourism experience (desirable)
- The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and busy periods
- A strong team ethic and willingness to learn
Key Information and Benefits
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering guided distillery tours and whisky tastings to a high standard
- Sharing the history, production process, and character of Bunnahabhain whisky
- Providing warm, professional customer service to all visitors
- Supporting retail and visitor centre operations when required
- Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are always maintained
