Location 📍: Field‑Based (Hub: Wantage, Oxfordshire)
Hours: 40 hours per week worked over 5 days, worked between Monday – Sunday with the occasional weekend work (plus overtime)

We’re excited to open internal applications for the role of Seating Rigger, joining our fantastic field‑based team who deliver safe, high‑quality seating structures for a wide range of events and projects.
About The Role
As a Seating Rigger, you’ll play a hands‑on role in the build and installation of our seating and temporary structure products. Working under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and the on‑site management team, you’ll contribute to efficient, safe and professional site operations—helping deliver the exceptional standards Arena is known for.
This role involves regular travel, working outdoors, and supporting builds of all sizes, from small stands to larger grandstand and canopy structures.

Key Responsibilities
Work professionally on site, following instructions from Site Management and adhering to all H&S procedures. Load/unload vehicles, prepare correct equipment, and complete required site paperwork. Drive and maintain company vehicles when needed. Mark out small stands, net small/medium structures, and complete general fixes including cutting floor wood. Use saws and tools safely for material preparation. Follow seating plans and drawings to build structures independently. Install correct components, including canopies, roofs, wires and gable ends, with supervision as required. Assist with building Steeldeck/Arena Deck structures and support superstructure installation at height. Maintain a clean, safe work area and report any safety concerns promptly.
What You’ll Need
Previous rigging experience — full training will be provided Literacy and numeracy skills Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Forklift licence desirable (not essential) Ability to travel frequently and work flexibly, including periods away from home Sufficient physical fitness to carry out manual handling tasks such as lifting, bending, stretching and working at height
