What we’re looking for:

The Solution Engineer will be responsible for solution architecture, demonstration and Pre-sales activity for the strategic customers. You will work closely with the Territory Sales Director and the Territory Sales Engineering Team to deliver the region sales targets.

What you’ll do:

The Solution Engineer is responsible for understanding the customer’s challenges and business requirements, defining appropriate technical solutions; and leading demonstration of the solution, including Product and solution presentations to customers using available Allot and partner technologies.

  • Deliver Customer Workshops for Allot Solutions and Products
  • Support Tender and RFx responses with the sales team
  • Lead Proof of Concepts, trials and demo at partner or Allot sites including all relevant documentation (Technical Proposal, Test Proposal, etc.)
  • Take ownership of technical relationships within customers and partner
  • Work with Product Management to drive customer’s feature requests / customizations

Requirements:

Must have experience:

  • Experience with Telco operator
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer / Solution Consultant
  • Experience with Cyber Security solutions (Endpoint, network-based security, Firewall,…)
  • Experience with Cloud and cloud technologies a plus

Additional requirements:

  • Proven direct customer facing skills and experience.
  • Excellent and proven Verbal and Written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, remotely, and stay focused, while working as part of a spread-out team of technical experts.
  • Self-motivated and able to technically lead a project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Able to liaise with all customer and partner levels including senior management to lead in providing solutions and explain technologies.

Technical Skills:

  • CCNP/CCSP or equivalent desired
  • Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with networking protocols, public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, VMware)
  • Familiarity with Security and DDoS products and standards
  • Technical or Customer training experience – an advantage
