We are seeking an experienced SecDevOps Engineer to join our Data & Integration team for our client. This role offers the opportunity to work on secure, cutting-edge projects within a highly regulated environment.

Location & Contract:

  • Hybrid role – Reading
  • 6-month contract with potential extension.
  • SC clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security controls.
  • Embed security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container security) into delivery processes.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Implement cloud-native security practices across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Automate vulnerability management, monitoring, and threat detection.
  • Support incident response, risk assessments, and compliance with frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, NCSC, NIS2).
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cyber specialists to embed security by design.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ experience in DevOps, SecDevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Cyber Security Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of secure SDLC methodologies and Zero Trust principles.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
  • Expertise in cloud security, IAM, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and Kubernetes security.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CEH, Security+, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Security).
