Secondary LSA - What the Role Involves
- Supporting teachers to deliver engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum
- Providing small-group and individual interventions to raise pupil attainment
- Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour
- Helping students develop confidence, independence and engagement with learning
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
Secondary LSA - What the School is Looking For
The ideal Secondary LSA will hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience is highly valued, whether gained through schools, tutoring, mentoring, youth work or similar settings. The school is looking for a proactive, compassionate and committed Secondary LSA with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people.

Secondary LSA - Salary and Contract Info
- £460 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract (September 2026 - July 2027), term-time only
- Potential for future teacher training or an extended contract following a successful placement
