Secondary Science Teacher – International Relocation Required
Location: Lisbon, Portugal Region: Europe Start Date: August 2026 Curriculum: British KS3 – KS5 Length of Contract: 2 years (renewable)

Key Responsibilities
Requirements
Essential:
- UK training with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., BEd, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent)
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional subject knowledge
- Experience teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) at Key Stage 3
- Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE)
- Ability to teach Biology and Physics at Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE)
- A proven record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- High level of spoken and written English
- A strong commitment to maintaining high standards
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Cultural awareness and strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to contribute positively to all aspects of school life, including extra-curricular activities

Desirable:
- At least three years’ teaching experience in the UK
- Further experience teaching Biology and Physics at Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE)
- Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics at Key Stage 5 (AS/A Level)
- Experience in an international school setting
- First aid training
- Child protection training
