Science Teacher (QTS/ECT): Flexible Secondary Supply Roles
Are you a scientific thinker with a passion for inspiring the next generation? We are currently seeking dedicated and highly qualified Science Teachers to join our network of secondary schools. This role offers you the professional freedom to focus on delivering high-impact lessons while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, bringing subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to life.
- Provide expert instruction, focusing on core curriculum mastery, data analysis, and scientific inquiry.
- Support examination cohorts with targeted preparation for GCSE and A-Level success.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and disciplined laboratory environment, ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly observed.
- Adapt teaching methods to support students with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL, to ensure accessibility for all.

Qualifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; ECTs are highly encouraged.
- Possess a degree in a Science-related field with a comprehensive understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
- Possess an enhanced DBS on the update service, or the willingness for one, with a firm commitment to safeguarding.
