We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join our team, specifically to teach Year 11 OCR Business. Your role will be vital in guiding students through a crucial academic year, helping them build key skills and achieve exam success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the Year 11 OCR Business curriculum.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for their upcoming exams, focusing on exam technique and course content.
  • Monitor pupil progress, assess work, and provide targeted feedback to help students achieve their potential.
  • Create a focused, productive, and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with the department to align on lesson planning and student progression goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching Year 11 / KS4 Business (knowledge of the OCR specification is highly desirable).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in secondary education.
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and build strong academic rapport with Year 11 students.
  • An enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
