Job Title: Teaching Assistants

Contract Type: Ongoing (Temporary to Permanent)
Salary: £95 - £108 per day
Working Hours: 08:30am - 15:30pm

About The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students' academic progress, emotional well-being, organisation, and self-regulation, helping them navigate the demands of secondary school while building confidence and independence.
We're looking for a patient and resilient individual who can develop a positive and trusting relationship with the students while maintaining high expectations and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the students in maintaining focus, engagement, and participation during lessons
- Implement strategies to support attention, organisation, time management, and emotional regulation
- Help manage transitions between lessons and different school environments
- Promote positive behaviour and support the student in meeting individual targets
- Build a strong, professional relationship with the student based on trust, consistency, and encouragement
- Monitor and report on the student's progress, well-being, and engagement
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with ADHD, SEMH needs, or other SEND requirements
- A strong understanding of ADHD and the strategies that support attention, engagement, and emotional regulation
- Strong behaviour management, communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working within a secondary school setting (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications in Education, Psychology, Youth Work, SEND, or a related field would be advantageous but are not essential
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential
