Phase: Secondary-age pupils
Quantum Scholars is looking for a patient, reliable and committed Secondary Tutor to support secondary-age pupils in Ledbury. This role is suited to someone who can build positive relationships with young people, provide tailored academic support, and help pupils grow in confidence with their learning.
The role may involve
- Providing one-to-one or small group tutoring for secondary-age pupils
- Supporting pupils with core subjects, study skills, confidence and engagement
- Planning and delivering sessions that meet individual learning needs
- Helping pupils develop positive routines and strategies for learning
- Adapting your approach to suit different abilities, needs and learning styles
- Working closely with Quantum Scholars and relevant professionals to support pupil progress
- Maintaining clear session notes and providing updates where required
- Promoting a safe, supportive and encouraging learning environment

Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting or teaching secondary-age pupils
- A patient, professional and flexible approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- A good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Reliability, organisation and a commitment to pupil progress
