Quantum Scholars is looking for a patient, reliable, and committed Secondary Tutor to support secondary-age pupils in Ledbury. This role is suited to someone who can build positive relationships with young people, provide tailored academic support, and help pupils grow in confidence with their learning.
The role may involve:
- Providing one-to-one or small group tutoring for secondary-age pupils
- Supporting pupils with core subjects, study skills, confidence, and engagement
- Planning and delivering sessions that meet individual learning needs
- Helping pupils develop positive routines and strategies for learning
- Adapting your approach to suit different abilities, needs, and learning styles
- Working closely with Quantum Scholars and relevant professionals to support pupil progress
- Maintaining clear session notes and providing updates where required
- Promoting a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment

Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting or teaching secondary-age pupils
- A patient, professional, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- A good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Reliability, organization, and a commitment to pupil progress
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required, along with suitable references.
