Secondary Tutor – Leominster, Herefordshire
Quantum Scholars is looking for a supportive and reliable Secondary Tutor to work with young people in Leominster, Herefordshire. This is an in-person role and is not online work. The successful tutor will provide tailored academic support to secondary-aged pupils, helping them build confidence, improve engagement and make progress in their learning.
The role may involve
- Delivering one-to-one or small-group tuition to secondary-aged pupils
- Working with young people with SEND
- Planning and adapting sessions to meet individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with core subjects, including English, maths or science
- Helping learners rebuild confidence and develop positive study habits
- Monitoring progress and providing clear feedback
- Working closely with families, schools and other professionals where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures

Essential Requirements
- Experience teaching, tutoring or supporting secondary-aged pupils
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to plan engaging, personalised learning sessions
- A patient, flexible and supportive approach
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable professional references
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
