Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a Section Engineer to join a major energy infrastructure project in Norfolk.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will play a key role in delivering construction activities safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers exposure to a large-scale engineering project within the energy sector and would suit an ambitious engineer looking to further develop their site engineering career.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to site teams and to provide solutions to engineering challenges.
- Carry out inspections and quality checks in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Produce survey information and maintain accurate as-built records.
- Ensure surveying and setting-out equipment is calibrated and maintained.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design requirements, specifications and project procedures.
- Support site teams by providing accurate technical information and engineering guidance.
- Ensure materials are stored, handled and installed in accordance with project requirements and manufacturer recommendations.
- Assist with the production of progress reports, KPI updates and material reconciliations.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
- Support effective communication between site operations, engineering teams and project stakeholders.

Key Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience within a Site Engineer or Section Engineer position.
- Experience working on civil engineering or construction projects.
- Proficient in surveying and setting-out techniques.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and site inspections.
- Sound understanding of Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability project requirements.
