Section Engineer - United Utilities Framework

Location: North West of England

Hours: 45 per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Section Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the technical compliance of projects. You'll work collaboratively with project teams to deliver work safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, all whilst interpreting design specifications and maintaining adherence to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering technical excellence.

Your Day To Day Will Include:

  • Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards
  • Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Monitoring site progress through inspections and quality checks
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues in collaboration with project managers and site teams
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports and quality documentation

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

  • You hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • You have an understanding of consents, logistics, and traffic management
  • You have awareness of commercial processes
  • You bring experience in people and project management
