Role: Section Engineer
Salary: £55,000 - £58,000
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Section Engineer role located in Greater London. The Section Engineer will oversee, manage, and coordinate engineering activities on construction projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising construction work
- Maintaining schedules
- Communicating with project stakeholders
- Resolving technical issues
- Ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications

- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in civil engineering principles, construction methods, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and time management.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Professional qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field, such as a degree or equivalent certification, is preferred.
- Experience working on construction projects in the UK or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail and meeting project deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.
