Kidswear Derby Section Manager – Zara (Full Time)

Reporting to: General Manager / Deputy Store Manager

About the Role

As a Section Manager at Zara, you support senior management in leading a section of the store, driving commercial performance, and creating an inclusive, engaging, and fast-paced environment. You will coordinate daily shop floor activity, support and motivate the team, and ensure company standards are met while delivering a strong, customer-focused experience.

This role is suited to individuals who bring the right mindset – people who are adaptable, empathetic, reliable, and resilient, and who can manage time effectively while working confidently under pressure. You enjoy working with product, data, and people, value collaboration, and take pride in contributing to shared success. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver floor layout and merchandising in line with company guidelines and commercial priorities.
  • Promote new collections and key products, adapting layouts using commercial reports, sales data, and customer insights.
  • Monitor product availability across all categories, responding proactively to trends and customer demand.
  • Maintain store image, cleanliness, and organisation to create an accessible, welcoming, and customer-focused environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
