Section Manager / Assistant Site Manager
Here at Wates Property Services, we have an exciting opportunity for a Section Manager / Assistant Site Manager to join our Planned Works team across the Warwickshire area.
Working in partnership with our social housing clients, you'll support the delivery of planned maintenance programmes including kitchens, bathrooms, internal and external refurbishments, and wider planned works.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career, with support, training, and clear progression within a growing and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day delivery of planned maintenance works across multiple sites
- Supervise operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Assist with programming works and monitoring progress against KPIs and timescales
- Carry out site inspections and support quality assurance across works
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
- Build strong relationships with residents, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Support reporting on site activity, performance, and risks

Essential
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a supervisory or site-based role (e.g. Supervisor, Assistant Site Manager, Section Manager)
- Ideally a background within planned social housing works or property maintenance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- Trade background (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, multi-trade)
- Experience working on kitchens, bathrooms, or refurbishment programmes
