Seeking a Senior Contractor for Securities Lending Advisory
We're seeking a senior contractor with deep, hands-on expertise in securities lending and lending agent operations to support a securities lending initiative on an advisory basis.
The individual will draw on direct operating experience to provide lessons learned, an independent view on technology vendors, and a pragmatic assessment of feasibility and operating model options. This is a specialist input role rather than a delivery role — we're buying judgement and pattern recognition from someone who has built or run comparable capabilities.

Key Areas of Contribution:
- Lessons Learned
- What has and hasn't worked in standing up or running a lending agent capability, including common pitfalls and cost/risk traps.
- Technology and Vendors
- A vendor-neutral view of the main platforms and providers in the securities lending / agency lending space, their relative strengths, and integration considerations.
- Feasibility
- A realistic read on what's achievable given typical constraints (capital, regulatory, operational, commercial).
- Operating Model Options
- Practical trade-offs across build/buy/partner and in-house vs. outsourced agent models, including governance, controls, and scalability.

Requirements:
- Extensive front-to-back experience in securities lending.
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and giving direct, defensible views.
Preferred:
- Experience spanning both the commercial side (desk, revenue, borrower/lender relationships) and the operational/technology side of a lending agent.
