Event Security Officer

London part-time £14.25ph permanent Start: ASAP

About This Role

Event Security Officer (Door Supervisor SIA Licensed Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of event staff, attendees, and premises.
  • Conduct bag searches and access control.
  • Monitor crowds and identify any suspicious behaviour or potential risks.
  • Respond to incidents quickly and professionally.
  • Provide clear and confident communication during emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (Must Speak Fluent English).
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Previous security experience preferred.
  • Must be 18+.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
  • Smart appearance and good personal hygiene.
  • Ability to travel to event locations.
  • Must be able to pass the BS7858 vetting process, including a 5-year work/education history check and criminal record screening.

This is a PAYE role, meaning you will be paid through payroll with tax and National Insurance deducted at source. Holiday pay is included at an additional 12.07% and is paid at the same time as your wages. If you are eligible, employer pension contributions of 3% are also provided on top of the advertised hourly rate.
