Security Advisor
Physical Security Advisor
Location: Bracknell (BRA01) – Travel may be required

The role of Group Security at Fujitsu is broad, covering multiple responsibilities and serving as the final point of escalation for many security-related requests.
About the Role
Your primary focus would be ‘the Protection’ of:
- All Fujitsu employees
- Fujitsu buildings, premises, and assets
- The reputation of Fujitsu
As part of the security team—working alongside Technical Security Advisors, but with distinct expertise in physical security—the role involves mutual collaboration and occasional overlap.
Responsibilities

Protect Property & Assets
- Manage, maintain, and safeguard the security of Fujitsu buildings, premises, and assets.

Workforce & Visitor Safety
- Protect and proactively support employees, contractors, and external visitors to Fujitsu sites.

Incident & Investigative Support
- Conduct investigations related to criminality, asset loss, and property damage.
- Lead liaison with investigative authorities, including gathering evidence.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

Training & Awareness
- Deliver security training and briefings for employees and executives.

Supplier & Contract Management
- Manage security service suppliers, ensuring timely and high-quality service provision.

Technology & Operational Support
- Maintain IT systems critical to the security function.
- Support other departments with security materials and attendance.

Access Control & Executive Support
- Manage and monitor Access Control Systems across Fujitsu buildings.
- Act as a security advisor for travelling employees (business protection).
- Provide executive security detail as required.

Event & Facility Security
- Secure Fujitsu’s presence at in-house and third-party events.
- Support HMG Facility Security Clearance for government accounts.

Pre-employment & Vetting Processes
- Assist in pre-employment screening.
- Support the National Security Vetting programmes, including eligibility checks.
Key Skills & Experience
Applications from candidates with the following transferable skills/experience are encouraged:
- Strong background in investigations (law enforcement, corporate security, loss prevention, etc.).
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships (internal and external).
- Experience with intruder detection and surveillance systems.
- Knowledge of Information Security Policies, standards, and procedures.
- Strong analytical mindset able to interpret data, create reports, and present findings.
- Ability to solution-design and enforce security controls—in both practical and technological domains.
- Eligibility & willingness to undergo a security clearance check.
