Security Analyst
Your mission:
As a Security Analyst, you will:
- Oversee incoming security vulnerability reports from our researchers' community
- Continuously sharpen your cybersecurity skills
- Engage with and support both researchers and security teams to provide best-in-class service for clients
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate actively with researchers and security teams using your full security skillset
- Research, develop Proofs-of-Concept (POCs), and evaluate incoming reports through our platform, ensuring they are:
- Unique
- Concrete
- Actionable for clients
- Handle escalations of tickets and mediate between researchers
- Mentor and coach more junior team members
- Proactively flag tickets that pose escalation risks
- Prioritize workload by tracking changes in the team’s timeline
- Assess the severity of reported issues, considering business disruption, financial, and managerial implications
- Apply CVSS ratings while familiarising yourself with the scoring system
- Review and provide constructive feedback on submitted reports—balancing support and precision
- Engage and motivate security researchers to outperform themselves
- Build strong relationships with the researcher community and customers in collaboration with success management
- Provide remediation advice, helping customers maximize value from received reports
- Proactively resolve issues, while remaining responsive to delegated work
- Communicate, document, and disseminate findings effectively
- Stay updated on the latest malware and security threats
- Perform penetration tests and security validations on:
- Computer systems
- Networks
- Applications
- Develop new testing methodologies to identify vulnerabilities

What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities and strong written/verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) Dutch proficiency is a plus!
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in:
- Penetration testing (Pen Testing)
- Security testing
- Vulnerability assessments
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with focused problem-solving under stress
- Dedicated knowledge of the ethical hacking (Bug Bounty) culture and community
- Analytical mind with:
- Attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving skills (sampling "aggressive googling")
- Ability to deal with unclear technical problems
- Experience working in 24x7 support roles with flexible hours
- Service-oriented personality focused on empathy and solutions
- Proven technical skills, including:
- OS proficiencies: Mac, Windows, Linux
- OWASP Top 10 awareness
- Web application security
- Mobile application security
Nice to Have
- A personal bug bounty profile
- Certifications such as:
- CEH
- CPT
- CEPT
- CPEN
- OSWE
- OSWA
- EWPT or EWPTX
