Security Architect - TSA - Remote - Outside IR35

We are seeking a Security Architect to support a telecoms operator in meeting its obligations under the Telecommunications Security Act. The role sits within a programme delivering network security improvements across core and access infrastructure. You will work alongside network engineering, risk and compliance teams to embed security by design across critical telecoms systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design security architectures for telecoms networks aligned to Telecommunications Security Act requirements and NCSC Telecoms Security Code of Practice.
  • Conduct risk assessments across core network, RAN and management plane systems, identifying gaps against regulatory obligations.
  • Produce security architecture documentation, including patterns, standards and target state designs for network segmentation and access control.
  • Review and validate vendor and supply chain security controls in line with TSA requirements.
  • Support remediation planning and track implementation of security controls across network domains.
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders to evidence compliance and articulate residual risk.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
