Security Architect (Digital)

Help shape secure digital experiences for millions of users by ensuring innovative customer-facing platforms are built with security at their core. This is an opportunity to influence modern digital products from concept through to delivery.

Role Overview

  • Location: Hybrid/Warrington (2 days per week)
  • Package: £70,000pa- £90,000pa & benefits
  • Industry: Technology/ Regulated Industry

What You'll Be Doing

  • Define security architecture for web, mobile and digital platforms.
  • Perform application threat modelling and security design reviews.
  • Partner with development teams to integrate security into Agile delivery.
  • Establish secure design patterns for customer-facing applications.
  • Review authentication, authorisation and API security controls.
  • Support penetration testing activities and remediation planning.
  • Identify security risks and provide pragmatic recommendations.
  • Promote DevSecOps and secure development best practice.

Main Skills Needed

  • Experience securing digital applications and online platforms.
  • Strong understanding of application security principles and OWASP Top 10.
  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices and modern authentication technologies.
  • Experience with Agile, DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Threat modelling and security risk assessment expertise.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of industry security standards and compliance frameworks.
  • CISSP, CSSLP or similar certifications beneficial.
