A new opportunity has arisen to work on a high-profile transformation programme within the MoD that will have a significant impact on the UK’s future military capability.
This role is key to the successful delivery of the transformation programme and requires a versatile individual who can operate in a senior technical capacity and work effectively with customer and delivery teams.
The Role
Joining at an early stage of the transformation programme, the role of the Security Architect will be to serve as a Cyber Security expert in the overall system architecture, focused on both Information Assurance and Cyber Security (but also elements of Physical and Personnel security).

You will lead security interactions while developing and managing security vision, strategies and roadmaps. You will develop a deep understanding of relevant security requirements, apply design principles to security architectures and ensure alignment to relevant standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST, MoD standards).
Requirements
This programme requires an innovative security professional, passionate about improving security standards with experience of driving success in MoD (or government) environments.

The Security Architect will be comfortable articulating architectural requirements to a range of technical and non-technical audiences, will be able to work collaboratively and have a deep understanding of risk.
A broad understanding of cloud technologies would be highly advantageous along with knowledge of TOGAF or MODAF. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC would be beneficial but not essential.
Security Clearance
UK SC is required for this role.
