Security Architect (Enterprise) – AI
Location: Sheffield/London/Remote, UK
Contract: Inside IR35
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Security Architect (Enterprise) – AI to lead the design and implementation of enterprise security architecture for Agentic AI, Generative AI, and AI-enabled software delivery platforms. You will serve as the technical authority for AI security, defining secure-by-design architectures and ensuring AI solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own the end-to-end security architecture for Agentic AI, LLM, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Define security standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for AI applications and AI-enabled SDLC.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance on secure AI solution design.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Cloud, DevSecOps, Data, IAM, and Risk teams to embed security throughout the AI lifecycle.
- Conduct threat modelling, architecture risk assessments, and security reviews for AI solutions.
- Define controls for AI models, APIs, data protection, identity, secrets management, and cloud security.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Stay current with emerging AI security threats, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Security Architecture or Cyber Security Architecture.
- Strong experience designing security architectures for Cloud, Enterprise Applications, and Digital Platforms.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and AI security principles.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including cloud security architecture and Zero Trust.
- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), API Security, Secrets Management, Network Security, and DevSecOps.
- Experience conducting threat modelling, security risk assessments, and architecture governance.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders.

Nice to Have
- Experience securing AI/ML platforms, AI agents, or enterprise AI deployments.
- Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, or other enterprise AI platforms.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, SC-100, AZ-500, or equivalent.
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
