Role Overview
Due to growing demand, we’re looking for Security Architect Consultants to join our growing UK team. We’re open to professionals who are developing their architectural capability as well as those who are well established and keen to shape direction, mentor others, and influence complex programmes.
You’ll play a key role in helping clients design secure, resilient digital services - contributing at a level that matches your experience, while being supported to grow your impact over time.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to and lead the technical security design of systems and services across multiple projects
- Design and implement robust security solutions to protect organizational assets
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to explain security decisions, trade-offs, and risks
- Act as a trusted advisor on security architecture and design, escalating and resolving complex issues where appropriate
- Provide expert recommendations on security architecture and design
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
- Define, apply, and evolve security standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to embed security into system designs
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and events, recommending corrective or mitigating actions
- For more experienced consultants, coach and support other architects and contribute to practice development
Qualifications
- Adapt to a wide range of delivery projects, ensuring security solutions are tailored to meet specific client needs
- Demonstrate deep expertise in core security concepts and apply them at a technical level
- Clearly communicate security and risk implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in securing network infrastructures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and related technologies
- Lead the development and evolution of security policies and processes that support business outcomes and architecture
- Work with architecture and cybersecurity frameworks such as TOGAF, NIST, ISO 27001, or COBIT
- Utilize a broad set of security tools and technologies to enhance protection and resilience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and recommend effective solutions
- Hold relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ or similar
- Bring 5+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, with experience in a dedicated security-focused role
- Must hold or be willing to undergo UK Government security clearance (SC/DV) as required for the role
