Security Architect (SaaS)
Join an organisation investing heavily in modern SaaS platforms and help ensure security is embedded throughout every stage of the software lifecycle. You'll influence architecture decisions that support scalable, secure cloud services.
Role Overview
- Location: Hybrid/Warrington (2 days per week on site)
- Package: £70,000pa- £90,000pa & benefits
- Industry: Technology/ Regulated Industry
What You'll Be Doing
- Define security architecture for SaaS applications and cloud platforms.
- Review supplier solutions and third-party security controls.
- Conduct security assessments for new SaaS implementations.
- Develop secure design patterns for cloud-hosted applications.
- Work with product and engineering teams to improve security maturity.
- Support compliance activities and security assurance programmes.
- Identify risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Champion secure-by-design principles across product delivery.

Main Skills Needed
- Experience securing enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud identity, access management and authentication.
- Knowledge of API security and integration patterns.
- Experience with vendor security assessments.
- Familiarity with ISO27001, SOC2, NIST and CIS standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in Agile software delivery.
- Security certifications advantageous.
