Role Overview

Due to continuing growth, Regency Security is seeking to recruit an additional experienced and driven individual to our Area Manager team covering Southend, Basildon, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich & surrounding areas. This is a remote based role operating in the Essex area. Visiting licensed premises on a Friday and Saturday night is an essential part of this role as well as travelling throughout your area of responsibility during the week. The candidate will also be required to be in our head office in Braintree when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Structuring the weekly rotas & ensuring venues are fully manned as per client requirements
  • Visiting and auditing DS at license premises
  • Meeting and liaising with premises managers
  • Attending Pub-watch and licensing meetings as well as liaising with local police and other agencies
  • Ensuring all DS are inducted and trained in accordance with premises policy
  • Implementing procedures and requests from the Managing Director and your direct line Managers

Required Skills

  • Have the ability to work well under pressure
  • Possess good problem solving skills and methods
  • Be able to work as part of a team or as an individual to high standards
  • Possess excellent man-management skills
  • Possess good time-management skills
  • Be a confident communicator verbally and written
  • Possess a flexible attitude to work.
  • Possess Current driving licence
  • Experience within the Door Supervision sector is absolutely essential, as is previous Management/Supervisory experience. You must also hold a valid front line SIA Door Supervision or CP License.
