The role
Security Assurance is not a traditional assurance function. We are a team of experienced technologists and security practitioners that provides the Board and Executive Management Team (EMT) with independent, insightful and pragmatic observations to help drive real security improvements in our business.
We review the systems, processes and capabilities that protect our most critical information, assessing whether the security outcomes expected by the Board are being achieved and identifying opportunities for improvement. Our work combines deep security expertise with data-driven and AI-enabled analysis to provide clear, actionable findings.
As a member of the team, you will gain broad visibility across a complex, technology-driven organisation, working with stakeholders from engineering teams through to senior executives and Board members. This is an opportunity to influence security outcomes across the business while helping shape the future of modern security assurance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
