Job Description

Our clients are “project enterprises”, including UK Government Defence organisations and Tier 1 suppliers, tasked with delivering complex portfolios of projects and programmes that realise military capability, secure infrastructure, and transformational change across people, process, technology, and assets.

You want to transform our clients’ approach to project-programme-portfolio management (P3M) by implementing digital solutions aligned to Defence acquisition lifecycles and secure delivery environments.

You will combine your knowledge of establishing digitally-enabled project ‘ways of working’ with your awareness of P3M solutions to maximise successful outcomes and investment returns for our clients, including improving assurance, governance and delivery confidence across Defence programmes.

We are seeking to recruit talented individuals at Associate Director and Project Director grades, who feel their experience and capabilities could support digital transformations for our clients by implementing and integrating applications and data to support robust project management and project controls.

As part of our team you will be expected to:

Assess current challenges and determine client requirements including within complex Defence delivery and assurance environments; Implement or refine established P3M methodologies, processes, data structures, tools and systems that enables the client to achieve desired project outcomes, aligned to Defence governance, gated reviews and acquisition lifecycles; Direct technology suppliers and lead digital implementation teams to establish client capability, often within secure environments and across client-supplier ecosystems; Embed changes in client enterprises by supporting stakeholder engagement and business readiness activities, across both MoD organisations and Tier 1 delivery partners; Continuously improve our advisory services; Produce documents/ deliverables and reports to support findings and recommendations across various stages of client engagements; Work within diverse and multi-disciplinary teams representing Turner & Townsend at both client sites and virtually; Participate in various business generation activities such as bids, proposals etc. and work closely alongside senior management and the wider Turner & Townsend team; Support marketing and social media campaigns (employee advocacy) where appropriate; Applicants must be sole UK nationals and eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
