Job Summary

We are seeking a well-presented, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team in a front-of-house security role. The successful candidate will be confident, approachable, and capable of managing a busy reception area with discretion and efficiency. They will possess strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to remain calm and professional at all times. This position would suit someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of first impressions, and is committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment. Responsibilities

  • Greet staff, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all front desk enquiries
  • Ensure that the reception desk is always manned during peak times
  • Ensure the Reception area and meeting rooms are always tidy and presentable
  • Handle inquiries, provide directions, and assist with general requests
  • Liaise with emergency services when required
  • Support other departments when required
  • Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with client brand standards
  • Promote a positive and well-managed environment
  • Manage incoming telephone calls and email communications
  • Handle complaints or concerns efficiently and escalate where necessary

Requirements

  • Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring techniques
  • First aid certification or willingness to undertake training
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required
  • Valid SIA license
  • Authorised to work in the UK
