About the Role
This role is based in the Managed Security & Cyber Operations team within the Service and Business Operations division of BT Business—supporting over 1 million UK customers, from global enterprises to start-ups, across a team of 12,000 staff.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will:
- Support or manage security contracts in collaboration with the Security Governance & Assurance Manager / Specialist
- Maintain operational relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and assigned customers
- Deliver security frameworks suitable for assigned contracts, ensuring their ongoing effectiveness
- Update security governance documentation to reflect current systems and requirements
- Coordinate and facilitate governance meetings, including setting agendas, capturing actionable minutes, and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Exceptional stakeholder management with clear, written and verbal communication
- A challenger mindset—using setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow
- Ability to evaluate options, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively
- High level of time management and ability to work independently
- Proficient proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Deep understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NCSC, NIS regulations)
- Relevant security compliance frameworks (e.g., BT Group’s Security Policy Framework)
- Familiarity with how security controls and requirements are applied in operational or delivery contexts
- Accreditations relevant to security governance or regulatory frameworks
