Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated, and vigilant individual looking for an opportunity to join our Samsic UK Security family? This role may be perfect for you.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Resource Planner to join our team in our Coventry office.
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide efficient and professional Control Room Duties and Resource Planning to Samsic UK Security’s clients, ensuring:
- High levels of customer service are demonstrated
- Each site has fully trained staff to meet contractual obligations
Contract & Hours
You will be contracted for 42.5 hours per week, operating over the following shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:30
- Week 2: Monday – Friday 12:30 – 21:00
Salary & Benefits
- £32,760 per annum (£14.78 per hour)

Maintain records including:
- Holiday management

- Last-minute sickness

- Regional rota management

Dispatch alarm notifications to Response Teams

Prepare and process payroll

Manage wage-related queries

Administer staff welfare calls

Liaise with clients

Generate and update:
- KPI spreadsheets
- Weekly/monthly reports
- Database updates

Work closely with Service Delivery Manager and Operations Manager
Essential Requirements
| Criteria | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Right to work | Unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK (minimum 1-year contract required) |
| Communication | Fluent in spoken and written English |
| Work History | Five-year checkable employment history |
| Microsoft Proficiency | Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word |
Additional essential qualifications include:
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills
