Location: Portsmouth – Portsdown Technology Park (onsite with some flexibility)

Salary: Up to £47,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

Job Description
As the Site Security Controller, you’ll lead security governance and operational practices across Naval Ships programmes, ensuring compliance with security standards. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, operational staff, and external partners to maintain secure, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary security point of contact for allocated sites and facilities.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align customer and company security requirements.
- Manage and enforce Security Risk Management, mitigating identified risks.
- Hold contractual responsibility for the security of government-classified assets and information.
- Execute timely and effective responses to security incidents to minimise organisational impact.
Essential Skills:
- Proven Gov S007: Security, Joint Service Publications, and Information Assurance Standards knowledge.
- Ability to assess and report on security effectiveness, keeping policies updated.
- Preference given to candidates with Defence or regulated industry experience.

Note: Security vetting restrictions apply. Applicants must meet Baseline Personnel Security Standard requirements. Higher vetting levels may require 5–10 years of UK residency, depending on the role.
