We are seeking a Security Coordinator to join our team on a high-profile Clyde Commercial Framework, supporting a major nuclear infrastructure project. This role is key to ensuring the efficient onboarding of Morgan Sindall personnel and supply chain partners, enabling secure and seamless project delivery.

Reporting to the Security Team Leader and collaborating closely with the client and key stakeholders, you will play a vital role in security coordination—offering an excellent opportunity to build your career within a dynamic, regulated environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security clearances for project partners and supply chain teams.
  • Support and approve enrolment onto the Viewpoint platform to enable secure and efficient information sharing.
  • Collaborate with project partners to deliver key security assurance activities.
  • Use the Viewpoint platform to monitor and ensure compliance with project security requirements.
  • Stay informed of current security protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Function as a key point of contact, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to address security-related matters.
  • Prepare and maintain security reports and documentation as required.
  • Ensure all activities align with confidentiality and data protection standards.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a security coordination, administration, or similar role (preferred).
  • Understanding of security clearance processes and associated responsibilities.
  • Awareness of project security arrangements and compliance frameworks (advantageous).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage accurate and detailed records.
  • Excellent diligence and ability to identify inconsistencies or potential risks.
  • Proficiency in using information management systems (e.g., Viewpoint or similar platforms).
  • Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good critical thinking skills and sound decision-making under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Commitment to always maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) required.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
  • Existing Security Clearance or experience in a regulated security environment is highly desirable.
