Security Design Engineer – Data Centres
United Kingdom | Remote
€75,000 - €95,000 + Bonus + Pension + Healthcare
Are you an experienced Security Design Engineer looking to work on some of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre projects?
We are seeking a talented engineer to lead and review the design of cutting-edge electronic security systems across major mission-critical developments. You'll play a key role from pre-construction through to project delivery, ensuring security solutions are technically robust, compliant, and fully integrated with wider building systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Developing and reviewing Electronic Security designs for hyperscale data centre projects
- Supporting tender submissions and technical bid responses
- Coordinating with ICT, MEP and CSA teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Managing design documentation from concept through to construction and handover
- Supporting construction teams and resolving technical design challenges on-site

What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years' experience designing Electronic Security systems on large-scale construction projects
- Data centre project experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection and integrated security systems
- Experience using BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks
- Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, ICT or a related discipline
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
