Security Cloud Engineer | 6 Month Contract
📍 Manchester, hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
💷 Rate: circa £500/day
🏦 Major transformation programme
📅 6 months, 3 positions available
We're working with a major client looking for experienced Security Cloud Engineers to support cloud security engineering, automation and secure infrastructure delivery across AWS, Azure or GCP environments.
What you'll do
- Drive cloud infrastructure enhancements in line with security standards and business requirements
- Design and deliver secure cloud services alongside engineering teams
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for secure application and infrastructure deployment
- Automate cloud security processes, escalations and remediation activities
- Monitor cloud environments using SIEM and cloud security tooling

What you'll need
- Strong experience in AWS, Azure or GCP
- Cloud security engineering experience with cloud-native security tools
- Hands-on CI/CD, DevOps and Agile/Scrum delivery
- Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python or Java
- Strong container knowledge, particularly Docker and Kubernetes

Nice to have: Wiz Cloud/Wiz Defend experience, AWS/Azure/GCP or CISSP certification, regulated sector exposure.
