An engineering-led Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) headquartered in Glasgow is looking to hire into their Security Operations Centre.

Their CREST-accredited 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) is at the heart of the business, delivering advanced cybersecurity services to organisations across a wide range of industries. They heavily invest in innovation, automation, and continuous improvement to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge security services to their clients.

It's a fantastic time for a Senior Security Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining deep technical expertise with customer engagement, mentoring colleagues, and helping shape the future of their security services.

The Role

As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll act as the primary technical contact for a portfolio of customers while supporting the delivery and continual improvement of managed security services. You'll lead customer onboarding, provide technical guidance during security incidents, develop automation, and mentor junior engineers within the SOC.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
