Security Engineer, Detection & Response at Doxy.me

Security Engineer, Detection & Response

Location: London, UK (Remote)

Salary: Not Disclosed

About the Company

Doxy.me is a leading global telehealth platform trusted by over one million healthcare providers to deliver secure care across 180+ countries. As a HIPAA-regulated service, Doxy.me connects patients and providers through innovative technology and world-class design, ensuring that healthcare remains accessible and secure for millions of users worldwide.

About the Role

This is a greenfield opportunity to establish Detection & Response at Doxy.me from the ground up. You’ll own the entire function, defining strategy, tooling, and roadmap while protecting sensitive medical data for millions of providers and their patients.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Own the end-to-end detection lifecycle, including researching threats and writing detection-as-code, deployed via CI/CD pipelines rather than manual SIEM configuration.
  • Build and maintain critical telemetry pipelines for deep visibility into:
    • Application activity
    • Infrastructure activity
    • Identity activity
    • Across the cloud-native AWS ecosystem.
  • Lead incident response, including investigation, containment, and building automated response workflows integrated with AWS and identity systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
