Job Description

Location: Dyserth Road

We are currently looking for a professional, reliable and customer-focused Security Guard to join our friendly team at New Pines Holiday Home Park.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the UK’s leading holiday park operators, helping to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our guests, owners and team members. The role includes working evenings, weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota to ensure the park remains secure at all times.

About The Role

As a Security Guard at New Pines Holiday Home Park, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of our guests, owners and team members. Working across evenings, weekends and holiday periods, you will carry out patrols, monitor security systems and respond professionally to any incidents or emergencies. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who is reliable, approachable and able to remain calm under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Security Guard at New Pines Holiday Home Park, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out regular patrols of the park, buildings and grounds
  • Monitoring CCTV systems and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff and property
  • Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies or disturbances
  • Managing access control and checking credentials where required
  • Assisting guests with enquiries in a polite and professional manner
  • Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting health and safety procedures across the park
  • Liaising with emergency services when necessary
  • Ensuring all security equipment is used and maintained correctly

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a security role (desirable)
  • A valid SIA licence, or willingness to obtain one
  • A calm, professional and approachable manner
  • Strong observation and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A reliable, flexible and responsible approach to work
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holiday periods

Required Criteria

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desired Criteria

  • Previous experience working in a security role, preferably within hospitality, leisure or holiday parks
