Job Description
As a Security Guard, you will join the Health, Safety and Security team to support the continued expansion of our offices in Stoke-on-Trent.
Working as a Security Guard within the Health, Safety and Security team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills while engaging with staff, clients, and visitors.

You will provide security services across the Company’s locations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures designed to protect our employees, property, and assets. Integral aspects of the role include maintaining confidentiality, complying with GDPR and upholding a professional standard of conduct at all times.
This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends on a rota basis. Relevant training will be provided.
Candidates must hold a valid full UK driving licence to be considered for the role.
Qualifications
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
- Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) awareness and ACT Security certificates or equivalent awareness/training.
- Ability to operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional manner at all times.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential security risks.
- Basic IT skills to effectively use reporting and monitoring software.
- Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations efficiently.
Additional Information
- Ensuring all security control measures are strictly adhered to and that standard operating procedures are always followed.
- Producing accurate, detailed, and comprehensive incident reports for management review.
- Meeting and greeting staff and visitors in a polite, professional, and customer-focused manner.
- Supporting front desk security duties, including controlling site access and issuing visitor passes.
- Overseeing site activity by actively monitoring surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the site.
- Responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm and effective manner.
