I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
SIA Applicants
For SIA roles, applicants must hold a valid frontline SIA licence appropriate to the position.
Previous experience within events, security, nightlife, stadia or crowd management is beneficial, although a professional attitude and strong work ethic are equally important.
Non-SIA Applicants
You do not need an SIA licence to apply for our non-SIA event roles.
These positions are ideal for individuals looking to gain experience within the events industry, work as part of a professional team and potentially explore longer-term opportunities with SLS UK.
FREC 3 Applicants
We are also actively recruiting individuals who hold a valid FREC 3 qualification to support our event operations.
Applicants should be confident working within busy public environments, able to remain calm under pressure and capable of working professionally alongside event teams, security personnel and other emergency or medical services where required.
Previous event medical experience is beneficial but not essential, depending on experience and suitability.
