Security Manager – Parkdean Resorts

We’re looking for an inspiring Security Manager to lead our dedicated security team and help create an exceptional, safe experience for every guest visiting our park. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring our environment remains welcoming, secure, and operating smoothly.

You’ll take the lead in recruiting, training, and developing your team—empowering them to deliver outstanding service and support across the entire park.


Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning resource levels to ensure the park maintains the required level of security
  • Utilising the Security team to effectively patrol the park, acting as a deterrent and intervening when needed
  • Ensuring compliance with security protocols and assignment instructions
  • Managing incidents, escalations, and reporting
  • Overseeing security technology and CCTV operations
  • Conducting full, unbiased investigations, producing detailed statements and reports, and ensuring all security activity is accurately recorded
  • Using on-park systems to review security data
  • Identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities and risks
  • Liaising with local enforcement authorities for routine inspections and investigations
  • Attending Management and Regional Meetings to promote security awareness among colleagues
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement
  • Conducting regular 1:1s and team briefings to ensure engagement and efficiency

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Have experience managing a security team
  • Hold a current SIA licence (minimum Door Supervision)
  • Possess a full, clean UK driving licence (manual car)
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate and influence confidently
  • Be adept at driving a positive security culture within a team, as well as managing and developing your team effectively
  • Show commercial awareness, including the ability to manage budgets and rotas
  • Thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
