Key Responsibilities

  • VIP & Guest Security:

    • Assist the Security Manager in implementing enhanced security protocols for high-profile guest visits and VIP events
    • Requires confidence, diplomacy, and professionalism when liaising with VIPs
  • Surveillance & Investigations:

    • Operate CCTV systems, monitoring all security cameras
    • Assist in incident analysis and reports as necessary
  • Patrol & Prevention:

    • Conduct regular security patrols of hotel grounds and facilities
    • Prevent unauthorised access, ensuring fire safety compliance and health & safety protocols
    • Perform random safety checks on key registers and storage spaces
    • Report any discrepancies or security breaches
  • Threat Detection & Incident Handling:

    • Detect and respond to suspicious packages, guests, or vehicles
    • Immediately escalate to the Security Manager when necessary

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • SIA Licence – Mandatory
  • Strong Customer Service Skills – Excellently interacting with high-profile clients and guests
  • Good Communication – Clarity, professionalism, and discretion when engaged with VIPs
  • Resilience Under Pressure – Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Legal Compliance – Knowledge and adherence to health & safety, disciplinary, and criminal procedures
  • Team Player – Collaboration and support for colleagues in a fast-paced environment
  • Smart, Professional Appearance – Public-facing role requiring exemplary grooming standards
