📍 Location: Cambridge, CB4 0AB
💰 Pay: £15.30 per hour
📅 Hours: 42 hours per week working 4 on, 4 off, days

Join our team as a Security Officer supporting a globally recognised technology organisation at a prestigious corporate site. This role is ideal for a professional, approachable, and highly observant individual who is passionate about keeping people, property, and assets safe. Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
- Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- A valid SIA licence
- Flexibility to work days and weekends
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
- Competent IT skills
- Strong report writing skills
- Reliable and trustworthy
