About the Role
You’ll join the frontline team at White City Living, a premier St James development delivering up to 1,465 new homes. This landmark project includes 39,000 sq ft of world-class amenities—think lounges, cinemas, pools, and a Health Club with virtual golf—offering a premium, hospitality-led environment; residents enjoy close proximity to White City and Wood Lane Underground stations.
This role demands a polished front-of-house presence combined with vigilant estate security. You’ll ensure safety for residents, guests, and contractors across all areas—from lobbies and leisure spaces to external grounds—as well as deliver a seamless, welcoming experience. Critical skills include calm authority, exceptional people skills, and an unwavering attention to detail.
Role Expectations
Provide a visible, reassuring security presence with a relentless focus on safety. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing access control, monitoring CCTV, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents with professionalism and care.
- Collaborating closely with the concierge team and estate operations to uphold security while fostering a warm, service-driven environment.
- Operate within a shift pattern of 4 days on (10:00–22:00) and 4 days off.

- Residents and guests feel safe, welcomed and well looked after at all times.
- All entries are authorised, maintaining vigilance and balancing firmness with tact.
- Incidents and near misses are handled swiftly, documented accurately and escalated when necessary.
- Proactive patrols effortlessly reduce hazards, false alarms and service disruptions.
- Clear handovers and daily reports keep colleagues and managers fully informed.
- Exceptional teamwork with concierge, contractors and estate teams during peak activity.

Daily Tasks
- Managing access control, visitor registration, issuing passes and maintaining logs.
- Conducting regular patrols across all buildings and common areas.
- Monitoring CCTV and security systems while responding to alarms and suspicious activities.
- Handling incidents and emergencies, supporting evacuations, and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
- Writing thorough incident reports, maintaining occurrence books and delivering clear daily handovers.
- Assisting concierge with resident enquiries and ensuring accurate control of contractor access.
Ideal Candidate
You should possess:
- A calm confidence under pressure, ensuring quick, decisive yet friendly communication.
- Professionalism in appearance, communication standards and consistency.
- Strong teamwork spirit with the ability to work both independently and under procedures.
- Tech-savviness familiar with security systems and an eagerness to evolve with tools.
- A suitable shift pattern (10:00–22:00, 4 on/4 off) that aligns with your dedication and lifestyle.
Preferred Experience
- Security experience in luxury residential, hotel or corporate environments.
- SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence with familiarity with access control and CCTV.
- Background in incident reporting, daily logs, and effective handovers.
- Understanding of fire safety procedures, panel checks and evacuation logistics.
- First aid awareness or certification with ability to engage with emergency services.
