Security Officer
Retail Security Officer – Leicester (Full-Time, Permanent)
Are you a confident and professional Retail Security Officer who enjoys safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?
Join our team in Leicester and make a real difference!
In this role, you’ll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you’ll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.
This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening, and weekend shifts—ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being an integral part of the store team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent, and report incidents
- Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies
- Supporting the enforcement of Health & Safety procedures
- Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft, and fraud
- Engaging with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively

We’re looking for someone who is alert, calm under pressure, and confident in their approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and a customer-first mindset. While similar security experience isn’t essential, the key skills and behaviours we seek include:
- Ability to follow procedures and remain composed in challenging situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence handling difficult conversations in a professional manner
- Sound judgement, honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- A supportive team player who takes pride in doing the right thing
